Real Pay · Selling digital products direct
Is Gumroad worth it? Its real pay, after the fees nobody lists
Fully computableGumroad is the fastest way to sell a digital product with no storefront — and its fee is two fees wearing one coat: 10% + $0.50, then card processing on top. A $10 product keeps about $8.20 direct, and $7.00 if Gumroad's Discover shelf found the buyer.
The part the poster skips: The $0.50 flat piece punishes cheap products. At $5, Gumroad's fee stack takes roughly a quarter of the sale; at $50, about an eighth. Price like you know it.
